Think about how much power you want to make. Go high and lean it out.

Yeah it depends how much power you want to make. If it's under 300 the 440 should be fine if you want a lil more say 340 or so then 550 would be your best bet.

Bigger is not always better. Not only do you waste money if you go too big, it's harder to idle bigger injectors (1000cc, etc). If you plan on upgrading later to make more power, it's pretty easy to scale your fuel map for bigger injectors.

In this case... definatley 550s if you can afford it, and plan to use em.

Get the 550's they should be good for almost 375 whp when tuned right. I have Walbro in-tank pump, with 550's, boosting 15.5 lbs... 2610 lbs car with me in it.

550cc are a good investment for future plans if you wanna go for more boost... but as you stated earlier that you didnt wanna do big boost and only want to boost around 7-8 lbs.. 440 should be fine. if the 550cc you said you are going to get are cheap..grab 'em and install them before the dyno..if they arent..save it and invest it towards your block...build up is the best way too boost and the safest way.
