Default 400+ HP Club *Fuel System Setups*

I wish Honda-Tech had a separate forum for 300 HP setups, 400 HP setups, and 500 HP setups. That would simplify everything for everyone.

I'm finishing off my laundry list for my turbo system. So far, I'm going with the following:

Precision SC61 (Arturbo Spec )
Precision 31x8x3.5 FMIC
Full-Race Manifold/DP (Pending)
Precision 850cc Injectors
AEM EMS 1.03
AEM 5 Bar Map
AEM Wideband
AEM FPR
AEM Fuel Filter

I know that I need a solid fuel pump and some lines. What do you guys recommend? Oh yeah...this is a street car.

Thanks in advance

you need to specify your hp goal...

i would avoid the aem fpr like the plague. the diaphrams have been known to rip under pressure

Holy **** that was quick (20 seconds). VaporTrail (what's your real name?) my HP goal will be 450 WHP MAX. We'd be thrilled with 400 WHP though.

I'm killing time here (see my signature for my name)

Pump wise, you'd be on the high end of a Walbro 255 high pressure pump, just aleviate the bottle necks in the fuel system (filter, banjo fittings) and I think you'll be fine with stock lines.

Thanks for the quick responses. I already have Precision 850cc injectors and the AEM FPR. I have this FPR from AEM:

Would this pump be adequate for my usage:

is that the 1000hp fuel pump from automotive? I also have a question for 450-550whp do you need to upgrade your fuel lines ? Or stock fuel lines are fine ? The fuel rail will be upgraded but just the other fuel lines.

VaporTrail stated that the factory lines are ok. The Aeromotive pump above is the A1000.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with Supra TT pumps in their cars? I figured it'd be a proven solution, especially a good alternate to a Walbro pump.

I just want to remind you guys that the external fuel pump is nasty loud ( loud to the point I can't hear my stereo even on high volume).

question about the ems, do you really need all that stuff with it?, the wideband, and the 5-bar map sensor. im buying a used one, my tuner has the software cd and the serial cable that comes with it. so i wouldnt need the wideband and a 5-bar map sensor correct?, the gm 3bar should do me fine? btw, pretty much the same goals as you.

It's ideal you get the wideband and stronger MAP sensor, but yes you can run without these.

Aeromotive FP and FPR, stcok lines. Always check to see if your FPR is rated for more than 15psi or those diaphrams are gonna die. Wouldnt want a gas leak would ya.

Don't need 5-Bar Map, unless your pushing more than 28ish PSI...but you shud be wayyyy over 400whp with that...get the GM 3Bar...

So at what level should you replace the factory lines? 500whp+?

hondata S200
880cc injectors
inline pro fuel rail
aeromotive A1000 pump
aeromotive fuel filter
aeromotive fpr
-10an
-8an return

I have made 500whp on this setup, but there will be more power to be made.

I'm running a 255lph with stock everything else and that was good for 531whp. At 550+whp pressure started to drop.
