400-450 whp safe on 81.5 GSR??
My Brother is wanting to build his motor. his power goals are reasonable. im just not sure if it will be safe on stock sleeves. He Definately wants it to last for a while summer or 2. just a weekend warrior car. His setup
81.5 Wiesco Pistons
Eagle Rods
ATI Damper
stock type R head
precision 1000cc injectors
JG Edelbrock intake manifold
Blox 70mm TB
SLS top mount
Precision SC6152SP
Ebay FMIC 24x3x12 (ya i bitched him out for a better one. but he wants to try it his car not mine..lol
S300 Boost Control
Running on E85
Still Hunting for a Tuner around the indiana area

With the topmount, sc61,E85, that should be no problem. The rods/piston combo, with stock sleeves should be fine. The E85 will allow you to add more timing and boost, and still keep it safe.

To be honest I havent heard anything bad about ebay intercoolers..I would rock one personally. The rest of the build looks fine id go for it

Man U FTW
That sounds like a great setup...i would have no hesitation pushing it over 400whp. Its all in the tune and since you're running E85, that gives you even more potential to make power.

whats a good tuner around the Northern Indiana area. he was gonna have Superdave from the Whipfactory but i was told he moved to Florida? So now we are back on the hunt for a tuner that makes power with good Reputation.. Jeff Evans and Tony1 we would loved to be tuned by them but too far for travel must be done over a weekend

Re: (SpoolnG2)
10.0:1 CP Pistons, Eagle rods, 81.5mm B18c1, stock sleeves and GSR head. E85 fuel tuned with S300. 400whp and 331tq. So far so good. As long as the tuning is good he should be just fine with stock sleeves. 450+whp might be pushing it though. Click on the links below to see my dyno graph.
