Default 4 plug 3 plug diferences in ecu's need an aswer fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

who ever answere my last question thanks. now i got another one (i'm about 4 hour away from picking up the ecu) i was looking online and I saw something about 4 plug and 3plug style ecus for the harness or something like that i'm looking for a p72 obd1 for my 95 lude so do i need the 3 or 4 plug ecu help?????

I thought in the last post the 4 plug was obd2 and the 3 plug was obd1

There are some OBD1 P72 ECUs that are 4 plug, but they're auto with traction control. You want a 3 plug ECU.

that was fast guys thanks! i just wnat to get the rigth ecu because u know that there is no returns on electronics according to them

It sounds like you are talking about an OBD conversion harness. But you only need those if you want to change to OBD 2, which means if you have an OBD 1 car/engine and want to run an OBD 2 ECU, then you have to also get an OBD 2 distributor (I think).

Let me ask you this, what year motor are you running? is it the stock 95 H22?

Were you planning on staying OBD 1 o are you planning on going OBD 2?

If you have an OBD 1 engine, and want to stay OBD 1 then you'd obviously want the OBD 1 ECU.
