Nice setup man. I didn't even know there was a honda scene in Latvia. (I used to date a girl from Latvia about 4 years ago)

Looks like your new shop is doing well.

ya something is def wrong w/ that powercurve...you should easily be able to wind that thing up to full boost before 5k....whats your exh setup....holsets hate being choked down

yeah, we are disappointing about that too, seems like too big ex turbo side.

Exhaust are 70mm that's 2.7"

do you know what size housing it is....i spool my 12cm housing on my tiny 1857cc by 4200rpm at 15psi....3" open dp.....

im willing to bet that is a 14cm or even 16cm housing....literally you should be lightin that thing up around 37-3800rpm....not closer to 5.....i must say im pretty dissappointed in your results too....cause id love to see this snail on a bigger motor

also you check for boost & exh leaks?

No ex leaks and 0.5 bar boost are good. We checked this car and tested for 3 days. There was so many problems. Then something, then again something different... .

Anyway this car scares me lot.

What would guys prefer to do with this turbo to get the boost at low rews. Are bigger DP will help?

setup is looking mean , good to see once that turbo spooled it made good numbers, looks like the exhaust side is just too big. using a 4 inch DP might help, but i think your asking the h22 to just huf and puff o hard to get that snall spining.

dp isnt really gonna get that lack of 1000rpm spool...id make a suggestion to measure you existing housing and going down in size....itll choke off the top a lil bit but my guess is your runnig the 18cm housing, it looks gigantic in comparison to mine and others...i figured if i was ever to run a holset on a 2.2 it be w/ a 14cm housing....a lil more than my 12cm yet...more room to breath

most holsets come w/ a 3" outlet and going any bigger to 4" isnt going to change anything drastic....

whats after the dp? nevermind just noticed the 70mm piping.....2.7"...are you running a cat? ill tell you this when i close my dp and run thru the tiny 2.38" stock exh it chokes down the turbo big time! and soon as i go to 3" open dp its like a nigh and day difference...i see about 6-700rpm of spool change and the car is just so much stronger....

id try and take the exh off and see how well it does on the dyno...and then go from there....basically if i was you id be looking for a slighty fatter powerband....2-2500rpm isnt much.....get that turbo spooled well by 4000ish and youll have a great setup...

btw how are your underhood temps, the compressor is really close to the turbo mani and im sure that isnt helping the cause of keepin charge temps down...have you considered coating the mani at all...

Holsets spool late, because they're meant for like 6 liter diesel truck engines.
My friends 200SX has the HX35 and it spools at 4-4500rpm.

hahaha has to be the funniest thing ive ever seen....spool has to do w/ the tubrine size....not what gas your running....and if anything gas would be hotter and cotain more energy than diesel....only reason they work well on diesels is because they love hi-pressure ratios...mostly because diesels dont flow for jack ****....so they run 30+psi of boost to compensate...and thats where these turbos flourish

another reason why we dont get super spool is 99% of the people using them arent using a split pulsed manifold...that alone would help out a bunch...

and besides ill take a 4k full spool esp w/ a 8k limit.....4k of powerband is more than enuff for me

Have 33-38 degrees by Celsius in Intake manifold.

We will going to play with wastegate, that could low down the rpms.

Actually I don't know why but this car changes for one time. First time when we run it and tune, it asks amazing amount of fuel in range form 4500-6000 IT WAS ROCKET in that range. Then we repair the some mechanical problems and find some VTEC wiring problems. After that car overfuell with previous tune. And we low down the fuel for about 2 times. Lost this middle range but get smooth top. This is what we have now.

I could post those bin files. Then and now. What's happened I don't know.

What could be the reason?

are you running blundars p13 bin or a new map made from a p28 bin? I know people have had luck w/ both but the p13 had better ignition tables to start....

you iat's are pretty decent nothing to worry about it there...

how are you activating the butterflies? or have you removed them?

you between the two runs you could have changed a few things like ect...or iat correction....if one plot you were gettin 1 correction...and another you were gettin different adjustments to the fueling etc...so it changed a tad....

if you post your bins id be more than glad to look at the two

I believe the holsets have a mark right before the T3 flange on the cartridge side of the turbine housing denoting the size. I have the 16cm on my b16 and it does spool late, 5.5k for 18psi.

only the 16cm have that mark otherwise you usually have to call up or email holset w/ the turbo part #

and proving my point....also full spool at 5500 on a tiny 1.6.....this thing should be spoolin it well before 5k...it should be gettin full boost around 4k
