Default 303 whp Dyno - D16Y7 non VTEC

Hey guys
Dennis tuned this D16Y7 a few days ago. Just thought I would share the results for you boosted D series lovers

D16Y7 block
Eagle rods
Suzuki Vitara pistons (fjt)
OEM honda bearings
OEM honda head gasket
ARP head studs
KMS block guard
D16Y7 head (very mild port/polish)
regrind cam
no cam gear
3" DP
KTeller 3" exhaust
the owner is oxhernandez on here

the first pull was @ 17psi



the second was @ 20 psi

What manifold?

How does the engine run without a cam gear? LoL.

I think that's the most hp I've seen from a Vitara setup.

A little surprised it didn't make more torque, curious to know the timing and answers to the rest of the questions. Awesome numbers nevertheless.

Wee.. i love seeing more good numbers on the vitaras. Assuming all the parts come in... i'll be going upto a t3 60/63 soon... hopefully i tune it into a similar power range.

What was it tuned on? If its crome/TE/uberdata... would u guys mind forwarding the map? I'm slowly accumulating other vitara maps to compare notes.

&lt;--- new to ignition tuning for power (i like fuel tuning )

well its t3/t4e 60 trim 48ar obx manifold modified by lorange and yes it was on pump gas 93octane.And yes i have crome pro program.

wow, i got a t3/t04 with a obx mani, on the same motor!!!

you've just gave me a progative to build mine a little before i run to a single cam vtec.

Your making me like my y7 head more and more.

What regrind did you go with. Delta 272 ?

EDIT: Btw what intake mani ? z6 or y8.
