You will never make 300 whp with that manifold/turbo set up.
Maybe 250 whp, after that the turbo will just blow hot air and not do a damn thing.

Kinda depends on your budget for a manifold and wastegate as well.
You can use a cast ebay manifold for $100 and it will work fine for up to max 400 whp or less, after that you will need a nice tubular manifold.
Wastegate is going to run you another $250, unless you find a good used one.
As far as turbo's go, if you need to keep your budget down you can look into used holset's.
If you spend $600 on just the turbo, you can get into a new precision entry line unit like a 50 or 57 trim for that price.

switching to a t3 mani would give you more turbo options but there would be other costs involved. new mani = new dp and dump tube, switching to external wg. maybe IC piping and oil supply too.
if you stay with the t25 frame, you could grab a gt28rs or similar, but they are $$$

lol well it looks like either way i go its gonna cost more. if i go with a t3 manifold what options would i have to reach my goal. i guess i would need a little cheaper turbo since im spending extra on the other. ill have like 500-maybe 700 to get what i needed.

Get a manifold and a 50 trim or a 57 trim will be a good turbo for your 300whp goal. The 15G will not get you there and the manifold, down pipe and turbo exhaust elbow are horrible and flow for crap. Go Auto Works makes some nice complete turbo kits for a good price or piece together your own kit. You will be much happier with the results and you will get the power you want.
If you already have the Greddy kit then just use it but get some 750cc injector and a better tuning system than the E Manage that the kit comes with and just enjoy what you can get out of the 15G. You will need a boost controller and you wont get near 300whp but 220-250whp is possible. I would port the exhaust elbow out as much as possible as well as the manifold and make a larger down pipe.

I haven't heard anything good or bad about blaast performance lately, but he used to get somewhat mixed reviews, mostly ok though.
blaastperformance.com he does rebuilt turbo's, if you look in the 200-350 hp section, he has 3 different t3/t4 turbos that could meet your goals for just under $400, then you add a $100 ebay cast t3 manifold.
Last thing is a wastegate, a new name brand is going to run you $250, you might find a good used one for less. Or you can take your chances on a cheaper brand. If you do go with a cheaper brand, stick with godspeed or cx racing, they seem to be the "best" of the ebay parts. Those wastegates only run like $80, some people have great luck with them.
An important thing to do if you buy a cheap wastegate that people dont realize is when you get it, take the top off, inspect the diaphrame thoughouly for nicks or tears, if it has any send it back for a new one, also double check the tightness of the screws that hold the diaphrame down.
Last and most important is setting proper boost cut on the ecu, the risk of a cheap wastegate is that it will fail and make you run infinite psi and pop the motor. Well your tuning with S300, so if you make your power at say 18 psi, set boost cut for 19 or 20 psi, this way if the wastegate ever does fail, your motor is protected....

Re: 300whp?? greddy td04 15g kit
i found a t04e with a 57 trim new at a decent price. i thought about just using the 15g, but if im gonna dump the cash to build everything im not gonna let a little more for a turbo stop me from the goal i really want. like i posted earlier kit was pretty much free i bought a crx the kid messed up the engine never got it tuned the body was clean interior was clean all gauges racing seats susesion had a dohc zc just needs honed and pistons and had the turbo kit i gave 700 for the car so i say the kit was free lol so i dont really have nething in the kit. ive always wanted to build something turbo so i jumped all over it.

Ching chong chineese garbage turbo's...........I would rather have a used or rebuilt brand name with 50,000 miles on it.
The brand names you want to look for are:
Garrett
Precision
Turbonetics
Holset
Borg-Warner

definitely stick with a name brand. if we can only afford $500, then you will need to start looking used/rebuilt. a new garrett t3/t4 is goona be about $800

Re: 300whp?? greddy td04 15g kit
If you have the whole kit, you could probably get around $1000 for it, but its worth whatever someone will pay honestly.
And yes that turbo will be capable of 400+ whp.

Re: 300whp?? greddy td04 15g kit
you can change the compressor housing and wheel to a 19t and 300whp should be attainable all for around 200 including the rebuild kit.
