I ran that for a few weeks. No cat, no resonator, no muffler. Just straight from the downpipe back. It was definetly loud but it wasn't obnoxiously loud. With the turbo it sounded pretty mean. I eventually added a muffler so it's not as loud now. couldnt tell you hp difference though.

is it daily driveable? where as you can pass by a cop and keep it quite or be side by side with a cop at a stop light and take off without causing too much attention?

Honestly on my setup it was close to as loud as open dp, but since its behind you ya dont notice quite as much... And its a little raspy(ricey) for my taste. But you do hear the turbo buzzing pretty noticably.

Re: 3" piping straight back after the turbo (Siegfried)
did this on a friends car.
gsr motor, peakboost kit with 3"dp, 3"testpipe and 3" kteller bolt up with 3" straight through magnaflow.
has a nice deep tone, not too loud but not quiet either. kinda about as loud as my greddy evo catback used to be. its definately not high pitched raspy honda fart can sound

Re: (Schister66)
turbo straight back under the passenger seat is LOUD, but not as loud as open downpipe, My floor vibrated pretty bad. Then it is a little less loud when you dump it after the axle and sounds clean when you throw a magnaflow muffler under there...

Vids or sound clip plz </TD></TR></TABLE>
I don't have vids, but my z6 had a 3" from turbo to tailpipe. I used an 18" and 24" fiberglass packed resonator on my car, no cat. Sound was roughly in between an apexi WS2 and thermal exhaust. Also quieter than my other civic (stock ex), with some header and a tenzo-r axle-back. The main difference was the abcense of any rasping or that rice-bomb 'blaaaaa, blaaaaaaa' crap. I couldn't hear the turbo *nearly* as much as the open DP (as well as a good 10-20hp decrease), but it was very livable. FYI I drove it ~45mins to/from work each day. I was fine doing that, but the other NA civic game me a headache.
Next time I'm going to get a nice preferated resonator along with a magnaflow. I just did it cheap to gain welding experience - $100 for my complete 3" cheap exhuast vs $200+ for a good pref res & magnaflo.

Re: (chrisgottigsr)
3" straight back with Apexi N1 canister and it really isn't loud at all. I've ran it open DP before and the difference wasn't earth shattering or anything.
