3" Muffler - which one is quiet w/o robbing too much power?
Hey all,
Sellin my thermal cat-back, and going 3". I dont want my exhaust to drive me nuts tho. I have a 6cyl Jeep Cherokee for a daily, and a Deltaflow muffler on it.. its annoying as hell, and I dont want that annoying drone sound from my civic. Which mufflers out there are nice and quiet?

I drove 8 hours in my B16/B17 hybrid turbo car with a 3" N1 last weekend, each way, no problems. Are you running a resonator? Mine is quiet enough that on the highway with LS 5th + B16 FD you can hold a conversation and people can sleep no problem.

I did a search and everyone is using the magnaflow 3" in/out oval. I just ordered it last week and it's not in stock but should recieve it late this week to early next week. I searched everywhere and this place was $7 higher than the cheapest one. I don't know the exact loudness but from what I heard it's not as loud as your normal ricer muffler. Here is a link to what I ordered but it also comes in stainless if you like it blingy.
