Icon2 240whp Civic EF with supercharged Gsr

Ok Soo I have my EF with a supercharger Gsr in it b18c n for now running 8lbs on it making 240whp 192tq...the car runs very strong I love the torque at lower rpms n now not too long ago I had a problem with my alternator, problem was that the nut on the pulley backout causing it to egg shape the double belt pulley in the middle where the alternator shaft goes thru the pulley, I can still drive the car n it runs just fine bt when I hit it I fall in and outta boost do to the not well centered pulley...I knw I have to buy a new pulley and if I do that I'm going to up the boost some more ooooorrrr I gt a turbo system I can put on my car n run 10lbs on that...what yall think I should do??

Thanks to everyone in advance

I seen stock b16 run up to 400whp but tuned im sure gsr can handle slightly more since it comes with a girdle and internal parts more beefier I would just get some pistons, new headgasket, and arp studs, and stronger valvesprings

GSR can safely make 350whp on a turbo setup, now because a supercharger robs power from the engine to turn the blower over that mark will be a little less. probably 300-320 would be safe with an aftercooler or meth injection you could possibly take it higher. IAT's climb quickly with a supercharger.

i for arp head studs in it already and its dyno tuned right now, i do have arias 8.3:1 pistons just not in the car heres a mod list

Block mods:
-Golden eagle blockgard
-Arp head studs

Drivetrain mods:
-Gsr head with port/polished job
-Brian Crower Springs and Titanium Retainers
-Brian crower stage 2 cams
-skunk2 6 bolt adjustable cam gears

Put together by myself

Other mods
-jrsc on 8lbs
-dsm 450 injectors
-dc headers
-omni 68mm TB not on the car yet
-chipped p72
-ngk wires
-walbro 255
-fuel pressure regulator

is either i spend money on a new pulley, up the boost n retune or put this turbo kit on it and try 400whp?? think i can pull it off??

thanks for ur time

Dude, just spend 30 for a used alternator.

Then add your turbo set-up and run it through your supercharger.

only if i could find a used double belt pulley...and i think the turbo would overwhelm the charger?? wouldnt it?

Its not low for dd's. But if your aiming for 400hp you should probably go 9:1 or so. I would go to high with stock internals though.

Wouldnt lol sorry. But maybe someone else can chime in and give you some better advice. But 9:1, 9.5:1 is generally the average i believe

8.3 is pretty dam low for boost I dont like going lower than 9:1 or higher than 10.5:1. While higher is possible more fine tuning is needed. You can force feed the SC with a turbo but not really worth it IMO as the SC will reheat the air. Just go turbo. You will find that at the same psi on with a turbo you will make more power.
