Default 2200hp street car, no gaskets, 25psi!!!

Yeah guys I found this on the popular hotrodding website and I just thought it would be fun for all of you to read, basicly everything on the car is kind of a new concept and design the engine has no gaskets and everything is sealed with o rings. All thou I think the wastegate placement looks a little wacky and that the wastegates are kinda small everything else looks pritty cool.....

Here is the link to the article and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!!

And looking that those wastegates they probably don't do much.. or need to either. The turbines are huge and I'm sure they are sized about right for the engine so there is not alot of backpressure in the manifold.. The only reason for a huge wastegate is a turbine housing that is too small.

That car is awesome. I have never seen no gaskets before, cool idea. But I don't know about a street car, one piece kills a street car to me. None the less verrrrry bad ***, hope to see some numbers out of it sometime.

I remember watching some TV program on the pikes peak semi trucks. They were not using gaskets either. Running about 30 psi with no head gasket.

Since these are "street" cars, they must have mufflers. Flowmaster built these specifically for Moran's application so they would fit and provide a minimum of restriction, yet still meet the requirements of the class.

So there take that!!!!
