I used the same size with my turbo ls and would run out of 4th gear right before I reached the end of the track. 22 would be better

These are all based on my own personal experiences:

Mickey Thompson ET Drags
20x8x14
up to 225 whp
These will fit on stock HX, CRX Si, B14 200SX SE & B13 Sentra SE-R wheels
These netted me a best of 13.7 @ 97 w/ a 50 shot Dry NOS kit and consistant 1.8 60' times. I am estimating that my car was pushing 180-185 hp to the wheels on the bottle. These are great slicks for high HP NA cars.

Mickey Thompson ET Drags
20x8x15
up to 225 whp
These will fit any 15" FWD steel wheel
Some people like these, personally I don't.

M&H Racemasters
22x8x13
up to 300 whp
These need to be mounted on 13x7-13x8 Bogart, Kaizer, Lenso VPD, or Volk TE37 Drag wheels. These slicks are ideal for anyone pushing 250+ whp. These are ideal for ANY Big Shot NOS Powered cars or turbocharged cars. These things netted me consistant 1.7-1.8 60' times and a best of 12.8 @ 106.5 on Nitrous and a 12.7 @ 112 turbocharged. These are smaller slicks and will net higher MPH than the 24.5x8-8.5x13 slicks.

M&H Racemasters
24.5x8.5x13
Mickey Thompson ET Drags
24.5x8x13
300+ whp
These slicks must be mounted on a set of Drag wheels as stated above. These are ideal for any high hp turbocharged car producing 300+ whp. I netted a best of 12.0 @ 118.77 mph so far even with a bad launch. I have had a best of 2.0 60' time only because my 2 step wasn't working at that time. The higher the HP and with the use of a 2 step or NOS out of the hole will net 1.5-1.6 60' times. These slicks should only be used for cars in the 300-400 whp range! These will be fairly hard to turn with any less hp!

BFG & M&H
26x10x15
500+ whp
These are what all the big boys are running! If you aren't pushing 500+ whp, then don't even think about it!

I hope this helps !
