2 questions since installing drag 3 turbo
its a complete drag 3 turbo kit in my 95 LS. stock internals.
i had to replace my radiator, so i bought an EG half size radiator and a 12" slim fan (from RCautoworks)
my questions are:
- do i need another fan to get my AC working? all it does is blow hot air. before i installed the turbo, the AC was working fine.
- when im driving around sometimes, i hear loud popping sounds coming from either my downpipe or where the downpipe and exhaust meet. what could be causing this?

here is a test for the AC. Go drive on the highway and see if you get cold air from your system. It very well could be that you are not removing enough heat from the condenser. If you do get cold air on the highway put a fan on the condenser so you have cold air around town. I am running a half size in my prelude and I did this to keep my AC working. If the highway test does not work then you might have another problem.
As far as the popping noise from the exhaust...could be a rich mixture combusting in the exhaust

my vote is it is hammering from the fmu and not retarding the timing. what management? where are your air fuel ratios?
and yes you need a fan in front of / behind the condenser. if you have no air flowing over it, there is nothing to "condense" the gaseous refrigerant back to a liquid.
