2 ferris wheels. yes 2 of em. not a honda but bad ***. 92mm garretts.
was at my local turbo rebuilder, and i was awe struck when i saw what was sitting in the corner. i cant remember if it is a pair of 92mm's, or 96mm's but at this point i dont think it matters. 1 of these turbo's made 1650hp on a 406 s.b. chevy. and now there are 2 of em on a 450 c.i.d. hemi. he is looking for double that. although he did say that there will be large traction issues. this is goin into a full race car if you didnt already suspect that. sorry for the phone pic but enjoy!

yeah that one did, but it never got a full pass and was blackballed by the nsca. he cant use it to compete. thats why he built the monte carlo tt setup instead.

BTW, anyone notice the design of the intake manifold? What's up with that? Talk about no plenum.

this was taken from the original hot rod magazine article:
'''''Since this engine has four turbochargers, there is a lot of air to force down into the intake tract. Moran is trying some reverse technology to fill the cylinders, "Obviously, we wanted an unrestricted, even flow of air into the engine, but also wanted to keep the hood as low as possible. To do this, we just looked at airflow systems that work in tight spaces--and what I saw were exhaust headers. Our intake looks similar to an exhaust because I took the basic design of a tubular exhaust header, reversed the airflow, and starting making changes to optimize the flow. We don't know if it'll work as well in real life as it looked in testing, but at least we're trying something different."""""
