2.5 or 3 in. Exhaust
I am installing a Peakboost top mount turbo kit, t3 t60-1 turbo on a b20. My old setup has a 3.00 in downpipe and exhaust, new kit has a 2.5 in. Down pipe, shooul I replace the 2.5 dp with a 3 in, adapt the downpipe to the 3 in exhaust, or just go with 2.5 in from turbo back? I am looking for around 400 whp when I get my car tuned by Stoopid. Just need a little advice. Thank u

you shouldn't have a problem making 400hp with the 2.5" exhaust.. .but I'd definatlely go with a 3" DP... ideally you want it 3" all the way back.. it will be a more efficient setup like that.
Can you get 400hp out of it probobly but 2.5 DP will definately be choking up that turbo bad.

either run it as is or get a 3" downpipe from peakboost. definitely do not downgrade to 2.5" exhaust, that would be a waste of time/money. as stated above, best would be full 3" turbo back.

Re: 2.5 or 3 in. Exhaust
The peakboost kit i bought from someone else was making 383 hp on a 2.5". was really chocking the turbo though...i have a really nice exhaust on mine so i think im going to get the 3 in...allthe way to the muffler wich is 2.5" it will get the job done. i have such a nice exhaust that i dont wanna sell it..
def keep the 3 in DP.
