Default 2.5" exhaust piping Diameter vs. 3"

Hey guys-- I was wondering how much of a difference spool up time between the two would be. I used to have a 3" Thermal-- but that bitch was too loud for my pansy ears on the freeway. I was wondering should I suck it up and do the 3", or would I be okay running 9psi w/ a 2.5"??

2.5 is cool enough. of course its better to go with 3. not a big difference.

you'll be safe with a 2.5" but of course they're always gonna be gains with less restriction on a turbo car.. if you can deal with emissions and noise an open downpipe would be a good idea

You'll be ok with the 2.5" catback, until you start making 300whp+.
