2.5" or 3" exhuast?

Default 2.5" or 3" exhuast?
for a dx motor and a turbo runing 6psi or so is a 3" exhuast really necessary? or do you think a 2.5"would be sufficient?

Search it's been covered. and yes 2.5" will be fine for that little HP

2.5" will not be choking off your motor, but you would gain a few HP by going to 3". I would just stick with 2.5", it'll be quieter anyways.
