Default 1998 Honda Civic Ex - going to get it turboed

Hello i am new to the forums and I just picked this bad boy up for under a grand

SOHC 1.6 Non-Vtech

Put Cold air intake in
Had a complete exhaust sytem done 2 1/4" from downpipe to bumper
No CAT, Straight pipe.
Ony problem is that because i took the cat i have to bypass the o2 sensor.
working on getting parts for a spark plug non fouler.
I hear you can just buy a better o2 sensor. any suggestions.

Also what motor would you put in. going to get it turboed.
Was thinking of a K20a.
here are the links to the photos:

If its an EX, it has VTEC. A K20A(R) swap is like $8-10k++++ in parts. You sure you want to do that just to turbo it?

My friend is a mechanic a certified mechanic who works at a shop. He said 1k to do the swap. That's the whole conversion. Engine and gearbox. Seen some k20a with 6 speed going for 2500 usd
I ain't no kid dreaming here. I have 2 jobs and want this. Hear people talking about b18 but k20a has the power.

Lmfao yeah, maybe 2500 for the engine and trans, but you still need kpro and everything to actually run it

A turn key k swap with mounts, shifter linkage, modified shifter box and tunnel, shifter cables, immobilizer bypass, axles, fuel system, intake, exhaust, mounts, cable throttle body, potentially a different intake manifold depending on motor, modified ecu (you are OBD2a so you have to use the stock ecu with Hondatas KPro to be able to tune the car and still pass emissions), trans, clutch, flywheel, new radiator and hoses (stock half core is too small and the hoses won't work), and engine plus the labor to modify and install everything is on average a minimum of 10,000 dollars.

and that's just for a base stock k20. There's a lot more than just putting the motor in the chassis... parts alone are over 4,000 dollars excluding the drivetrain.

if someone's saying they can do a full k swap for that cheap then they are either an idiot, don't know what they're doing, or using stolen parts... or all of the above

No the k series just doesn't drop in and no stock parts already on the car will work

look at my post, I made a list of everything needed.
