Default 1998 Civic Mini-Me SOHC Vtec Turbo Build

I'm looking to build my mini me swap SOHC vtec motor for a turbo. Right now I'm looking at using a GT25R turbo to push anywhere from 5-20lbs.

I'm looking for help, advice and suggestions on internals, where to get them for the lowest price if known, common mistakes people make when building, common problems people have run into, etc.

I have friends who have built similar motors but not this exactly so I want multiple opinions on the subject.

Any positive input is appreciated.

What do you know so far about what you want to do and are you ready to spend money on decent parts?

I want to replace everything I can with forged parts to be able to handle at least 15lbs of boost under that size turbo.

I'm very patient and am only looking to buy quality parts. I'd rather buy expensive once, than buy cheap over and over again. I'd like to find the lowest price possible for quality parts however.

I'm trying for a quality build that will last me. Many of my friends think this effort is futile and that most sohc d series turbo builds fall apart or blow parts a few months in. I want to prove them wrong.

I currently have a 98 dx block with dx transmission with the ex head. I'm also looking into replacing the transmission due to the dx gearing. I mix up the part numbers/names so I apologize for my generalized description of my parts.

For 15lbs you can run vitara pistons. They are cast but are a great option for d series, they are good for the 300hp range and are quality and value all in one. Also you don't get piston slap like you do with forged pistons when they are cold. Add them to some eagle rods and smoke some B series like no other.
