Default 1996 accord f22b1 turbo

Hi, I have a 96 accord with an f22b1 engine with 175000 miles on it and I want to know if it would be safe to run say a 6psi turbo on it for a daily driver until I can save up for a new f22 replacement. It is also an auto trans right now but I will be swapping in a 5spd very soon. I'm new to turbo's so bear with me, thanks.

Do a compression check to see if the engine is still in ok shape, and as long as you tune it right, you should be fine.
