Evil DOHC

We took maingear's gsr to the E-town tonight. First pass ever on the setup netted a 14.10 @ 100.4 with a high 2.3 60 footer. Which isn't bad considering the fact that we installed the kit in the car within 30 minutes prior to going to the track. The bottle wasn't even heated up passed 750 psi. I jumped in the car and netted a 2.2 60 ft spraying out the whole but as soon as I banged 2nd the clutch couldn't take the power of the little Zex kit lol. I just let off the gas and coasted not to waste the spray. Anybody that was at etown last night knows that you would be lucky to even get 2 passes in. Either way, we will do some further testing at island this sunday to crack the 13 second mark with less than $1,000 in total mods.

My reaction was impressive, especially for a dry kit. First gear felt solid with a nice jump in power, second I couldn't tell you because it felt like the car was in neutral. I have driven plenty of cars with direct port or single fogger wet setups but for $450 to trap 100 mph in the 1/4 with no brain work invovled is not a bad mod. I know that the car can def run a 13.6 - 13.8 with a solid clutch. This car was run on pump gas with full interior, ac, and power steering.
