1600cc Seimen Deka injector question... FORD stamped?
I bought a set of injectors from someone local on this board (brand new) but just want to confirm something with you guys who have used these injectors in the past or currently...
I was told they are the Seimen Deka 1600cc generic style injector, but upon a closer look at them I see a FORD stamp on the side of the injector. Is this normal? Are these maybe not Seimens? Maybe not even 1600cc's?
Here is a picture of the set:
Do these look like Seimen Dekas to you guys? Have you had to run injector boxes with these? And finally... to fit the tops of these suckers into rails, did you redrill the rail, or shave the injector? Thanks!

From what I can see... one injector side says:
FORD D
XL3E-09A
other side:
484
0 280150846
Make any sense? LOL. Also, where the injector clip clips on the number "957" is stamped as well.

Found here: http://whiteracing.com/fuel.html

Just found more info online:
http://www.robietherobot.com/s...e.htm
GREAT site for injector info. Was able to cross check my part numbers and these injectors are DEFINITELY Bosch injectors. I'm just unable to found what vehicle (if any) these were OEM for.

Not to keep talking to myself in my own thread, but I've found the info I was looking for. I figured I'd post it up for those who may look this thread up in the future.
The 280 150 846 part number on the side of a Bosch injector DOES reference a 1600cc model they made. I don't believe these were ever factory in any car to my knowledge, but the flow is correct.
I think this site is in German, but it's listed here: http://traderamotor.msn.se/sho...600cc
You can PM James Innes from Mazworx to buy these if you want a relatively inexpensive high-flow injector.

Re: (N20civicB18)
Yes, but that's a different injector from the ones I have above. I still have yet to figure out which, if any, car these came in factory for. I highly doubt that they did.
I found another list with 100's of OEM Bosch injector part numbers and the highest they went to was 440cc or so.

no, no they aren't different. the light blue topped 160lb injectors came in the propane powered tarus and ranger, period. ford later changed the part number and upped the price when the injectors started getting back ordered a lot. a LOT of mustang/alky guys run these in their setups.

no so much BAD....as they just aren't perfectly ideal. they will work....many many many mustang guys have proven that true.
you can also get the 150lb ford injectors for $380 for <FONT SIZE="50">8</FONT> they need a hair bit of modding to fit i believe, but just compare that to everyone else's price

Re: (boosted94cx)
Yeah, I already bought the Bosch's from James @ Mazworx so that's what I'm going to run. As long as I am running clean consistent AFR's, then I'm a happy camper.

Re: (HybridKOOP)
Those are Siemens Deka injectors. That's for sure. Just install same model 900 cc on H22 engine.
Funny think was, connectors from prelude fit with those injectors without mods.
