16 g dsm turbos on a honda??
I was talking to some kid the other day and he told me that the 16g dsm turbos off old eclipses or evos will bolt directly onto my 94 accord. Has anyone ever heard of this or know if its true?

bolt on no, 16g are from evo;s and dual fin's unlike T25 and 14bs singal fin
|
do you know if the manifolds fit though?

Re: (ccssk8ter11)
your exhaust manifold isnt going bolt on to it, you could be ghetto and weld it on or buy an turbo manifold https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

My friend has one and we were looking at it and it fits execpt the last hole on the left side so you just have to re drill it.

Re: (ccssk8ter11)
people will tell you here that the oem header isnt a good to be used as a turbo manifold but its free so go for it
|
what do you mean oem header? Im talkin about the stock turbo manifold from the eclipse or evo not the honda header. It is a turbo manifold.

Re: 16 g dsm turbos on a honda?? (ccssk8ter11)
a dsm manifold off a 1g or 2 g or even a evo 3 will fit a sohc f22 motor only and it requires drilling the bolt holes to make them bigger, at that expense your better off buy a cheap sscrao manifold for your car because i'm sure drill bits get dull fast on cast iron manifolds. Also these oem mitsu cast iron manifolds crack easy unless you buy a SBR evo3 manifld. As for the turbos, 14bs, 13gs,t25s, all dsm 16gs (execpt for the twin scrolls, evo8+s) will work but only up to 250 roughly.

cool thanks,
by the way, do you know how long it takes to get this noob shit off my profile |

If your on a budget turbo build. I say just save it up for little awhile and do everything right at once https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif just.02 |
