14b/T3 turbo owners....does your turbo hold at high RPMs?
Im wondering how well the turbo holds at like 7200RPM(my d16Z6) redline. Im hoping it holds all the way. I bought a T25 to start w/but knew that was too small, so now I have the 14b and am wondering if that will be too small as well. would a T3 .48 AR hold boost better, produce more power, and spool later?
Also, do you guys have any #'s for the 14b? Just kinda curious what it puts down.
Thank for the help

Sorry, 14b will be similiar to the T25 as to dying out at high rpm. The 14b is better than the t25 and doesn't die so early, but it still has the problem.
Think t3/t04e.
Sorry, no numbers.

Exactly.
I used to have a T-25 on my ZC, and I had 12psi of boost by 2800rpm! It made for one hell of a fun street car, but it was VERY disapointing when it died up top. It would pull really nice to about 5000, but then kinda seem like there was nothing left.
My new turbo setup will have a better top end SC50 T3/TO4E 50 trim with .63 turbine.
Drop Shop ran a 14B on his ZC, and had about 170hp at 10-12psi.

I know the 14b does hold far better than the T25. So I know it will hold power. egboosted i belive ran 9-10 on his T25, made 165whp and was making power all the way to redline. I know the 14b is good. but the T3 is what ill need for the drag.
Thanks for the replies guys. I REALLY appreciate it!
