SOHC motor here. d16z6 with nothing done to it besides maybe a d15b7 head gasket before I do the install. 450 CC injectors Mind controlled by VAFC when the install goes.
Im wondering, because i've heard different things.. what size intercooler/charge piping should I use? Im keeping my catback, it's 2.5" and i'll probably get 2.5" downpipe to match.. my thing is which is better for the piping?
Also is a 1g DSM Side mount alright for this setup? The most i'll run is up to 10psi.. though I wish I could justfind a cheap Starion Front mount or something. ANy opinions otherwise than this stuff? All open.

2.5" would be just fine for the piping IMO. The side mount should be sufficient enough for what you're doing. My brother ran 10 psi on d16y8 with blue box and DSM side mount daily. Just use that until you come across a cheap front mount.

2 inch intercooler piping will be sufficient for that setup.
people have run low 12's with DSM sidemounts-- in DSM's so that should be a good basis whether or not it will work for you.

Lazerus = Dope.
Thanks yo. I agreed when I thought about how much the turbo would have to do as far as work goes to push alot of air through huge piping. Smaller sounds right.. and cheaper. :D
