1480bhp@ 20 psi and still going
We dynoed the motor for the Buick G/N last night and it made 1480hp @ 20 psi. This motor has a bit more hp in it since we got to the 1480hp number with no intercooler. We are putting a new set of heads on the engine today and will be re-dynoing with the intercooler on it this time. We are looking for around 1700hp@20-25 psi.
Here are the pics of the engine on the dyno and our dyno facility.

I will have video today or tomorrow when the beast gets back up and running. I will tell you it;s f-@#! awsome when it comes up on boost. It sounds like it is going to rip the dyno off the floor.
We also have a larger a/r turbine housing on the way. The back pressure was getting a bit high on the exhaust side.

Nice job on the car. Pics? Or video would be even better?

This is a little bit different set up than the norm. Ken put a 477ci V8 in it.
I know it hurts me too but atleast I got him to take the blower off the car and go with the turbo.

We measured the back pressure right at the turbine inlet. You can see the sensor in the pic of the motor on the engine dyno.

The carb is from CSU they make great carbs for boosted apps.
The tq is funny a basic flat line you might say. 4700-7000 its almost straight across.
Can you say traction problem I knew you could.

We didn't check the inlet temps on this setup. On the last set up like this we had temps in the mid 200 degrees.
