If some one can get the pics on here without the link that would be ggggreat.
Th car looks ghetto so I have to do a lot of coaxing to get corvettes ect. to bite
Mods:
88 crx si
b18c1
w/ JRSC at 9.5psi
lht intercooler
50 shot zex nitrous (dry)
9.5:1 compression ratio
je pistons
je rings
eagle rods
acl bearings
forged eagle crank
endyn catch can
stock ignition system
hondata s200b
2.25/2.5 inch exhaust
intake (k&n air filter)
kamikaze header
90 ls tranny (w/ 190k miles)
jim fab traction bar
tokico illumina
nuespeed springs
integra rear disc conversion
Dyno: 250hp 190tq before dry shot (conservative tune 11.8-12.0:1 AFR)
past quarter time: 2.2 60ft ,13.4 at 116mph (kelly tires+ shitty tune)
present quarter Time:1.9 60ft, 12.1 at 115mph m&H street slicks and tune from SUPRDAVE AT WHIPFACTORY).
I still get 29mpg on the hwy
AND I thought I needed a turbo to go this quick

Thanks John,
I wanna be like you guys. I probably won't make as much power without nitrous but the motor still has room for improovement.
Do you think i will get noticable gains with cam gears, 3 inch exhaust and a retune.
or just leave it as is?

I think with the exhaust you might see a difference, and a retune cant hurt, but before that I think you should take car of that engine bay (clean dat **** y0). Otherwise, goodtimes

Re: (AbitAvenger)
I have always made power with cam gears, I seen 8-10whp on blower cars.
I have found 2.5" true mandrel bent exhaust will be enough, Then yes retune.

I was thinking about driving up to chi-town as I've heard nothing but good things about the whip factory. How much did tuning end up costing you?

I was thinking about jumping it to a 75 shot but I rather not get carried away.
did you have your nos working with you hondata?
Did you motor like that amount of shot?
Did you have any problems with it

I was just going to give you a call about another tuning session with dave... I know andy was trying to get some people together and I need my tune touched up with my new goodies installed.
What night did you hit up gateway? I must have missed the news of you rolling out... I would liked to see the beast run with a good tune.
Hit me up sometime or whatnot.

Yeah, we ran it with Hondata Nitrous controls. The motor loved it, never had any problems. Eventually figured out that it liked the NGK9 plugs better than the 7's. Every once and a while we'd burn the ground strap off the 7 plug.

that's awesome.. my buddy will be hitting the streets this week with 11psi, b18c, crx.
I hit 13.9 last year with a 2.5 60ft and a 2" exhaust on a b16a on street tires.. the track was the shittiest i ever seen but the car still performed quite well under the circumstances.
i dont understand why people are so quick to put down the JRSC.. his car is so fun to drive and it's quite fast!!

call up dave and get a price... it varies a little bit depending on your management system but he is VERY reasonable IMO. 630-922-3327

Re: (2point2)
Hopefully he doesn't suffer from too much heatsoak...have him get an intercooler of water injection

Damn skippy
This is my first ever time launching with a little traction of the line and it was a bit scarry (i am used to spinning my *** of to the 1/8). I know with a little practice there is room for improvement.

Re: (2point2)
I only burrowed those tires for 2 runs (owners ran a 1984 turbo charged/nos volkswagen 11.6). I ran them with 11.5 psi out side tem was about 75deg and track temp 85deg. I am probably gonna buy a personal set of tires for next year....
