Default 13.3@103 MPH JRSC Civic

My buddy took his wife's 95 Civic EX w/ B18C1 JRSC to the track last night..pulled a 13.3@103 MPH full interior, even baby seat and all.
I think he is running 8-9 psi though. Not too bad I though.

Damn... That is a good run. I didn't think supercharged B18C1's were that quick. Newz to me!

Well it makes sense. A B18C1 with I/H/E in a 95 EX should be able to pull mid 14s right? From what Ive seen...JRSCs usually drop 1-1.5 seconds off a car's time...so 13.3 sounds just right.

are old friend onefastb18c ran his JRSC 99 Teg with full interior on street tires to a 13.5@105 with 6psi, I/H/E. On slicks, same setup, 13.1. That's why I can't understand hating on the charger, we have quite a few fast cars like this down here.

The fastest super charged civic runs 11's. Check him out on this sight speedonline.com

go figure, he did extensive mods and tuning to get that far. ID still stay with my turbo though.

Congrates on the 13 sec run, tell your friend that.

peace

the MPH is a tad low though, with that time it could be around 110-112 mph

Was he using slicks, drag radials, or just street tires. I would think on slicks being on street tires he would be doing nothing but spinning tires off 1st gear especially with the charger. But all in all good time.

tell him to get some slicks!!! I do pretty well on drag radials best time being a 12.8, but slicks dropped my et by 3 tenths and dropped my mph.

Thats funny. Kurt from the Ol Spec-R tuning(retired now), ran an 11.4 with his Jackson civic. Funny thing is, is that he had a stock Gsr motor and the JR and a 25 shot. I have got it on tape and all. I really dont think that this guy has the fastest JR civic. I wonder what his best is? I think that Kurts best was 11.2 on the stock motor. Fastest huh? I doubt that.

Actually Atomic Racing out of California holds the record for the fastest supercharged car. I believe they ran a 10.7. They were using 120 shot of gas on I think 12psi.. I could be wrong though. I am not tooo tooo familiaar with there set up other than they were using the jrsc.

You are correct. A few months ago he also ran a 10.60 @130mph before getting out of the sport - on a stock ECU

Man john....it must be a tampa thing. You always get your cars to run fast without too much engine mods....I need to move back from cali.

I gues it isnt the fastest. I dont pay attention to Superchargers, there tight but I like my turbo. If the times are in the tens with these supercharged cars. Thats cool too, time to take another step.

peace
