120shot nitrous single fogger built motor?
my friend and i been arguing for a while.do you think you can squeeze a 120shot single fogger wet on a BUILt low c/r(9:1) motor if it had high octane(c16) and tuned?or do you think at that hp range that it would be too un-evenly distributed?i say that you can as long as there isn't too much timing and it don't detonate.

Easily, Ive seen it done on a D16z6, just had some srp 10:1 flat tops and LS rods, was only running 93 pump
I was planning running a direct port 150 on 93 and 10.5:1
The single frogger would make tuning a bitch, but as long as you keep it conservatively rich and dont go *** nuts on timing youd definetely be fine, for how long..... Would easily work and hold for a while though
Stock injectors + SAFC/VAFC + Wideband and youve got a nice sleeper with the n20

i feel that if you dont lean out,120shot single would be ok even thou cylinder 4 would get more nitrous and fuel then cylinder 1.if the shot were any higher,then i would say go direct port,but thats just my .2cent.

Ther is no uneven distribution with a single fogger as long as you place the nozzle 18" from the throttle body. I know of up to a 200 shot dry being done on a Honda without uneven distribution.

the motor that i'm talking about was built for turbo,but plans changed due to money.so it has 9:1 pistons,eagle rods,but no turbo.it's all motor rite now but plan to do some kind of BIGG shot.if we can do 125shot single fogger,then we are going to do that for now.just wanted to see if anybody else have did it.

it would be better if you went direct but thats more costly in lines and plumbing but you probably can get away with 125 shot with some kinda of igntion retard device and some good fuel it should be plenty happy.

Honestly, 9:1 is pretty dam low if you wanna make a fast street car that wont be a dog off of the bottle. Id possiblly if you can, get the head milled, .040 would raise that c/r to close to 10:1, thin headgasket....
Is this a D16? I was planing on running the 150 shot like I said, all you need is an ignition (pm DA-MAX hes selling exactly what you need for $250) and an SAFC and use of a wideband for a while. Get a descent tune n/a with the wideband and SAFC/VAFC, then when on the bottle just retard timing the 4-7* and maybe add a small small bit of fuel just for security
Nitrous loves compression though, would be fast as ****.
I personally was gonna do it to so I could spend more on brakes and LSD and ****, but the power not always being there is what knocked me off and Im gonna settle for the slower turbo car
But dont forget, a 125+ shot ******* RIPS through a 10lb bottle like its nothing, will get expensive if you race a lot like I did

I am a nobody here but i thought i would post up a cool car i dyno tuned a year ago on NOS. The owner went down to L.A. (where he grew up at) and told everyone what he had and they said it was B.S. After he came back with there money they didn't say anything! Here is a Vid:

yea that's why you always race for money! I was about 100 dollars a weekend for that car to be ready to race. It got a little old so he is getting a turbocharger, Shocker!
