12000 rpm turbo?
hi my im wondering if is possible to build a B series 12000 rpm and tubo? and if is possible wich cams should i get? what should i get? i know that sound really crazy but i know that a B series with a 5 cap block grildle, iron sleeve, forged internal, balanced and a what other stuff like upgrading the oil system can make the B series support 11000 rpm, so i was wondering if the B series can go 11000 rpm why not turbocharge it? my other question is that it is possible to tune it to make it a street car?

(1) convert to a desmodromic system or Retrofit pneumatic valves.

(3) you wont make power that high with off the shelf cams

Trial membership means you can't post in the classifieds. It does not mean you can't use the search button.
If you look, you will not find any winning b-series drag car that spins to 12000rpm on the track, except by accident. At most, you'll find 10500, but most cars will be 9-10k, as thats when their spare tire-sized GT42's will make >800whp. The reason 12k isn't a common goal is for the other reasons stated above.

i know our hotrod car with a 4202R, b series, stock gsr cams, the power starts to fall off after 9250.
this year we upgraded to a differant cam, and havent gotten a chance to get back on the dyno yet.
there really isnt a point to spin the engine any higher, unless it helps put you back into the power band between shifts, id imagine there would be a limit as to how far out of the power band you rev, before it starts to hurt you.
