10:1 compression in my ITR. Can i run on 93 octane? (ive searched)
I am thinking about 10:1 compression in my ITR motor. Ive seen a few people say i would have to run race gas, but i think it can be done with proper tuning.
I have a T3/T4, im gonna be running 96lbs injectors with an AEM EMS. I think tuning should make 93 ocatne posible. But this is my first turbo motor so i dont know. I plan on running 15psi daily and 23-25psi at the track.

anything above 17-18ish psi your gonna wanna go with higher octane (race gas) just to avoid any mishaps that will destroy stuff.

Im almost positive im gonna go with 10:1, Now im tryin to decide between JE or CP. I dont think either of em stock 10:1 for a ITR. Im tryin to stay away from custom pistons cus im on a tight budget.

i went with ROSS 10:1 pistons for my ITR motor . your lucky to have 93 octane , cali only has 91
i read a thread the other day about JE pistons compared to CP , you might want to check it out . i forgot which one it was though , sorry .
