Default 1 gsr camshaft & 1type r camshaft

i heard that if you put 1 gsr camshaft & 1 type r camshaft it will run better
is this true?

A Type-R Intake cam and a Gs-R exaust cam will work. I don't know that it will run better than both Type-R camshafts

I remember seeing a dyno test done a long time ago. The R exhaust cam only gained 1hp. The intake cam however made about 8-10 more horsepower.


I should mention this was on an All Motor setup

the type r exhaust cam isnt much more aggresive than the gsr. where as the intake cam is much more aggressive.

type r intake and gsr exhaust is a good combo

i have a typer head and i dont want to buy the skunk2 pro1s because i would have to buy the valve spring and retainers. should i buy the type r cams or the gsr

just get the Skunk2 pro1's they are better than the R's and cost abt the same
