#1 F-UP for Turbo?
I'm getting ready to install a custom set-up, in a week or so...I want to know if there is anything that is really common to mess up... it's a 93 Civic EX (D16z6) w/ AC
T-25 Turbo
Greddy Manifold (re-welded plate for T-25 flange)
Bosch BOV
DSM side-mount intercooler
DSM 450cc injectors
Resistor Box
Mandrel bent charge pipe (JC Whitney stock)
Will have a DP made, maybe 2.5-3 in. CAT
Either the VAFC hack, or more likely a custom electronic MAP limiter, adjuster to run the injectors. (I'll get that worked out before I boost)
NGK's one range colder
SS-AN-4 oil feed
AN-6 return
I probably won't have any kind of ignition management right-off, so how much should I retard the timing for 5-7psi? I'll do a search, though I'm not sure how to set the timing to something other than stock...
Does this set-up look good?

Re: #1 F-UP for Turbo? (ion_four)
Also, does anyone know any place in the Portland, OR area to get a new flange welded onto a cast iron manifold? I want to make sure it doesn't get warped and is done right...

Some comments:
Your oil return should be AN10.
Try making an adapter instead of welding. See my site below.
You may need to rotate the turbo housing to get things lined up.
The T25 needs water. Remember to run water lines.
the T-25 has a special fitting on the oil feed. See my site.
You will need welding assistance for the oil pan and the BOV.
Good luck.

i made a major mistake, i let my gf come over. "you said you would be done by now." only an hour or so left. "you said that 4 hours ago." "i am so board." "all you care about is that damn car."
make sure you give her some thing to do. nothing like a nagging woman to slow down a turbo install.
good luck

I keep the hoes in different area codes, so they won't be in my hair.
Yeah, I forgot to list the Coolant lines...just fuel line from the TB?
I was just going to use JBweld and a bulkead fitting on the pan, so I shouldn't have any issues, right?
AN-10 seems really big, I was just going to use 6 or 8...
As a side-note, the MAX boost I'm going to do is 7psi, I think I want to adjust the wastegate to 5psi, initially, just to be safe.

My girlfriend will come over and will not even step in the shop she know better. All my friends tell me I got a good one. If I am working she just goes inside and waits till I am done. Sometimes hours. She also buys me parts what more can I ask for. I just blew my motor and who do you think is paying for the Build on the motor? Not me I got turbo stuff to buy.

From block -> turbo:
1/8 BSP to 1/8 NPT adapter -> 1/8 NPT to AN-4 adapter -> steel braided oil line -> 7/16 to AN-4 adapter -> turbo ?
Where does the oil pressure sender fit in all this? I see you have yours T'd off with the autometer sender but I don't have an oil press. gauge so how would i run mine? Don't have the turbo on the car yet but I'm just planning it out so I know what fittings to get.
