H22 Turbo Accord Tranny Question
Ok, after hours of research I still have some questions.
I have a 94 accord coupe h22A turbo setup. Dynoed at 326whp@11psi...I currently have a m2s4 tranny and i am contemplating the m2l5 tranny. I know longer gears are supposedly a better option for turbo cars, but is there a such thing as too long?
I would like to here from people with experience, and VTEC is not an issue if ur tune is correct so i dont wana here the VTEC engagement comments.
Thank u for all ur help in advance...

Re: H22 Turbo Accord Tranny Question
I'm using an accord transmission from my F22. However, I'm not sure how it will work n the 1/4 mile. It is fine for the street. I have read he H23 transmission is good for both street and track.

Re: H22 Turbo Accord Tranny Question
Excuse my noobness but what are u refering to when u say "dog box"
Also, u said that the H22 gears are stronger than F22 gears...how r the H23 gears compared to the H22 gears?

Re: H22 Turbo Accord Tranny Question
KamAccord, yes i would agree i have the H23 in the car right now and i like it....i was curious how it would perform on the track...I recently came across a rebuilt m2l5 by gearspeed and thats why i am inquiring info about the F22 trans...but if the gears aren't strong i dont think its the way i want to go
