1.8L B16 High Rev Boost Ready Build Idea Inside -->
Ok, so, I am bored, and I was playing around on zealautowerks.com (which is a PHENOMENAL website by the way) And I wanted to make my friend a pretty well built b16 motor, stroked and bored to a 1.8. Now the intention was to go high compression and make it NA. But after seeing some of the specs of the finished product, I thought. Well well, this might actually make a pretty good BOOST motor!
Why not drop a B17 Crank and Rods in a B16 and bore to 84mm?!
The increased stroke and bore will make it a 1.8L (1,804cc)
It will have a 1.62 r/s ratio (super high rev capable) and still have plenty of piston to deck height (.022")
Slap in some forged internals and a 35r, you could be making power to 10k+!!!!
What does HT think?

over square engines love rpms and typically carry torque to high rpms. just make sure you tune it an it will be a good motor the only drawback is you're gonna need to rev the **** out of it which sucks as a street car

i disagree. If you have to rev the **** out of it, the car would actually be more streetable. You would have less power down in the lower to mid rpm ranges, which means it would be more friendly in traffic but you could open it up on the highway
