Default 1/2 oil pan hole too big?

My oil drain line is 5/8, but the only barbed fitting i can find at homedepot with a 5/8barb is a 1/2 male. Do you guys think a 1/2 hole in the oil pan is too big? im running a d16y7. If not, im gonna drill that suckka this weekend and boost.

If you find a 5/8" barb with a 3/8" thread, it will have to neck it down anyways. I use 1/2" on all my stuff, but then again I've switched to adapter plates that bolt on, not unlike the same fitting you bolt to the turbo's oil outlet.
