Default 0-5V sensors. Need actual ranges please.

Ok, I'm trying to hook my PLX M-500 up. I have a pinout of the ECU and know where to hook the wires into. Everything is good to go. Now I'm trying to get the gauges to work right. They're fluttering all over the place. I have to plug in what gauge does what. To do this I need to know for example what the range of the VSS is. Like 0 volts is how many MPH? And how fast is the car going when the sensor maxes out at 5V? Same goes for IAT(intake air temp), MAP, ECT(engine coolant temp), NEP(engine speed). If you guys could point me towards a webpage I'd appreciate it. I looked in my Helms and all I can find is testing procedures which don't really help much since you measure resistance of the switch at specific temps.

TIA.

For some of the sensors your listed, you need to monitor the frequency not the voltage. For example, the RPM, VSS, are freqeuncy based outputting 5V pulses.

You can do trial an error and figure this info out by monitoring the signals comming out of the sensors while you drive.

rpm is 2 pulses for each revolution I believe

Ok, so how would I got about setting these up in my M500? I know that's a long shot since there are a hell of a lot less people with the M500 than there are that know how these sensors work.

For RPM Signal:

Hz= (Number of cylinders * RPM) / 120
