[Saif's Civic EG6 SiR-II] *Turbo build
Hey guys been registered on HT for a while now, thought i'd post up my build up here.
I own a JDM EG6 SIR 2 in Granada black pearl in pristine condition for its age. Came with the alot of factory optional extras too. I bought it in 2011, and its been in storage for the winter season in I really hate the weather here, plus the salt they use on the roads to melt the ice really gets on my nerves!
Here's a few recent pics of the car:
Heres my turbo kit/parts:
The engine it totally stock B16A second gen. I am deciding weather I forge it and boost it or buy a B18C4 (b18c1 for you guys) and boost that stock.
Power figure is 350-400 bhp on either engine. Yes I know the b18 will make alot more torque than the B16, but I want it to be street friendly!

Just wanted to ask my feed line kit came with a .35 restrictor for the GT3076R, is this the correct restrictor to use? Greg sells it in his pro oil kit for bb turbos

Thats nice got everthing here then! Just need an aluminium rad so i can weld a an fitting for the coolant lines!
Regarding a feed line filter, would it be ok to fit the filter to the brass 'T' piece then connect the line onto the other end of the filter? Instead of buying another short line to join... If you know what im saying lol

If you do that and have the fitting hanging from the block then there is a chance it may break. My filter is screwed direcly into my turbo.
I can't believe how clean your car is for its age on our UK roads lol!! Where are you from ?

If you don't mind me asking sir, why didn't you just purchase one of Greg's GT half sized radiator? They already have a -6an fitting welded to it. I am running one of Greg's GT half sized radiator and the quality looks excellent. Though, I can not tell you how it performs yet but hopefully by the end of today I will be able to give you some input on how it performs sir.

It was imported in 2010 i think so its not been in UK for long, when I got it damn the underside was soo clean! not one spot of rust and no underseal.. so the first thing I did was fully strip all the chassis componeents and fully sealed it underneath .

Thinking about which engine to boost at the moment
B16A boost it to 300WHP
B18C4 (b18c1) boost it to 350WHP
Which from the above two engines would be the most reliable and last the longest?

Re: [Civic EG6 SiR-II] ** Go-Autoworks Turbo build
Finally since the weather here in UK is starting to get warmer I am starting to build the car and fit the turbo kit step by step.
Fitted the following:
Edelbrock Victor x
Spoon venturi 70mm Throttle body
Blox inlet gasket
Walbro 255
I am going to be running the car like this for a week or so, then the next job will be to change the LMAS to the new 'Spring' style to get rid of that typewriter noise, fit new cam seals, new timing belt, water pump, tensioner, and AEM cam gears.
Stay tuned..

Good looking car, subscribed for updates. One question, what pistons are you going to use? I did not see any listed on your list.

^^x2
Good luck with the build, I also dealt with Greg @ GO-AUTOWORKS for my pistons, rods, valvetrain, ID injectors & pump, pro-series oil/coolant line kits and misc last year.
Awesome place to deal with.
Have fun with that GT3076R, I'm also using it on my street car. LOVE IT. Sounds like SEX spooling up due to it's unique "Inducer Bleeder" integrated into the Anti-surge compressor housing, and regardless of noise, it's a wild street turbo, perfect for between 350-450whp setups.
