@#$&!!! Im still getting detonation like a sob.
Well, I changed a few things and the boost seems to be at a lower psi. Car runs good and all but today I got on it and "TDDDDD" for a split sec. Ive got a d16 with 14b, ic, bov, fmu, fuel pump.
Could it be the tming on the distributer not being turned domn (retarded)? It seems like it only does this when I get past 5k rpm's when on it hard. Thanx for any suggestions again.

timing is usually between 12-14 on D series rite...
how much are you boosting? .. try to put your timing down 1 degree per 2 psi starting from 14 degrees.. after that... you might need more fuel.. or try to gap your plugs to 30 .. and get a bottle of cheap octane booster.. and if that cheap octane booster helps then you kno that you need more octane i would suggest the octane booster first get it up to 5k as you say where it detonates...then do the timing then gapping
also make sure your plugs a a step colder.. do that last replacing the plugs

So after timing the car w/the light I put the timing up 12-14 degrees and then back 5-6 degrees??
