Default @%$#*&!! flywheel bolts!

Holy sheeeit those ******* were on tight. I put a propane torch to them, soaked them in liquid wrench overnight, pounded on them with a hammer , and used a big *** breaker bar and still almost herniated myself trying to get them off. Plus I rounded the corners on those 12 point motha' ******.

OK, now that I got that off my chest, the question. Should I put hi temp grease or anti seize on those things before I reinstall the flywheel or is it better to leave then dry and have more friction to prevent them from loosening up?

you might want to put a little on
my buddys prelude had 3 back themselves out, 1 fell out and destroied the clutch. the other 2 were sanded smooth by the clutch disc.

it is recommended to use loctite on those flywheel bolts and torque them to spec. everytime i do this i have NO problems taking them back off, i speak from experience.... lots of it.

for good info. Do what he says and I'll add to it that you should ONLY use the BLUE LocTite and NOT the red! Red will make it impossible to remove the bolts!

I hope so too. I just use a medium powered impact. Works everytime.
