*vid* DYNO from Sunday w/ my turbo d16z6
The results? 187.7whp, 174.6 ft/lbs tq.
I was hoping to hit 200whp, but luck wasn't on my side. I made six pulls, and no matter what we changed, power output stayed consistent. Smoothed the afr by making a few quick changes to the afc for a nice curve, about 13:1 until 4k, 13.5 between 4 & 5.5, and 12:1 after that. It woudln't go any lower between 4 and 5 (already at -35... -34 threw CEL).
So, the low down is .7 bar (~10.xx psi) on a volvo t3, .42/.48-- drag mani / tial / open dump tube.
We upped the timing 3*, I upped the boost a half pound to max out the map sensor, and what did I get out of it all? 4whp from the way I drove it every day
VIDEO is at http://www.bristoldyno.com/videos/Civic1.jpg
if that doesn't work, go there yourself, it's the civic video, can't miss it:
http://www.bristoldyno.com/videos/videos2.htm
On a side note, what do you guys think this setup can do in the quarter (normal weight reduction of course).... Low 13's? I have no idea, let me know. Hope you like it!

In a fully loaded 95 EX 13's are a little harder to hit than in a hatchback. Should be no problem with slicks and a good driver though.

GREAT NUMBERS MATT!
Those are good numbers for the 50 trim (almost postive those are 50's ? but it's actually been a while) volvo turbos! .42/.48. I've seen consistent numbers in that area (185-19X). So dont get down. Check out pollito's on turbod16. VERY similar numbers. Good torque too! I bet it pulls great.
I've always been a believer in the 60 trims though. seen consistent numbers 210 and up outta them Just takes a little longer to spool
BTW: That turbo and wastegate sound ******* badass! That video is really sweet. I like it.
I wanted to say something to ya on aim too lol now i forgot

Yup, pretty much EXACTLY the numbers I put out. I was running about 10psi in the mid revs and it dropped to about 9 psi. I put out 186whp and 170wtq on the hack. Same sized turbo.
Edit: you guys should have tried to take OUT some timing, not add it. Just a thought seeing as you're running the hack.

They are alright, I am trying to figure out what I can run in the quarter with those #'s. I'm going to go right now and see if I can find a scanner, you guys have to see the sheet. The torque (~175 ft/lbs) is available from 3800 rpm's on. It's pretty sweet. Better things to come this summer, though!

It got painted, new rims, and a new turbo setup. I'm hoping to hit the 200whp area with my t3/t4 at around 7psi but I guess we wills ee if it happens sometime within the next week when my new setup gets put on

You might try messing with one of those 1/4 mile calculators... Takes the weight of your car, E.T., and mph then calculates the required WHP. Just work backwards... I found them to be pretty decent at predicting a ballpark figure.
BTW, what was the smoke from in the vid? An exhaust leak?
On that same website, the CRX vid with the 236 whp NA motor was sweeet. That'll make a good link for people curious to know what VTEC is all about.

Realisticly if you are a good driver and are on slicks you should see mid 13's. The best run i had on my old tune was a 13.1 and this is with more tq then you. I ran consistent 13.30-13.41's. As soon as i hit the track with how its setup i should see mid to high 12's now. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Nice numbers.
With those numbers you should be in the 13's with a nice pair of slicks.
That CRX is badass.

How hard do you drive this car on the street? (I don't mean street racing, just asking if you beat it to death, or baby it...)
I have a 1995 Del Sol SI turbod with a turbo specialties kit.. I want my car to run low 14s.. IM not looking for crazy numbers lower than that.. But either way.. Where can I find one of those volvo turbos, and how much do vafcs go for?

Hell yeah, the 60 trim t3 is awesome on a d16...i did 205whp on 6psi, doesnt spool all that bad....I like it , its traction control until like 5500 rpms then the tires just spin...Pulls extremely hard to redline, my peak power was at 7000 rpms when i left off, wished i would stayed in on it till 7500 i might have seen 210...oooh well, im running 10psi now and it gets a little crazy sometimes...but hella fun!
