i know this may seem like a dumb question. Yes i have tried the SEARCH button but i can't figure it out. Whats the difference between long and short blocks and which is better for FI or does it not matter?? thanks fellas

A b17 short block and a b17 long block are the same thing...differnce is the short block is ONLY the bottom end and the long block will inclide the head...

If you are looking to buy a b series shortblock you won't get the head to go along with it...to answer your question...car won't run with just a short block https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

I dunno why they say long and short either? Shouldn't it be tall and short?
