**Wastegate dilemma!**
Today me and my friend mounted my new wastegate. I have only one question, at what PSI does my wastegate open?
Thank you
*** READ THIS BEFORE POST ****
Ok well this thread is almost dead, but people are still posting because they dont read my other replies were I stated that this was and is a JOKE! The BOV is not mounted, I just slapped it on my friends HF-mani put short bolts on it so it looks more real and took couple of pics for fun. By the way on one of the pictures you can see that the turbo has internal wastegate.

Re: (The Original Whitey)
Technically though, it might work right?
I mean, wastegates and blow off valves are of similar function. Their mechanics are really similar.
I wonder if this would hold boost at all? lol.
Seriously though, I think it might work.

Re: (Niskyspy)
Its not the boost you should be worried about. The materials used in a BOV are not made to hold up to the extream heat that a wastegate is made to withstand...

Re: **Wastegate dilemma!** (JDM_Risa)
So what you are saying is that this is BOV, as Blow off Valve. Damn I screwed up again, I though this was the wastegate, OMG I messed up my manifold . I think I am through with junk turbo setup I'll prolly just go and buy a Greddy turbo kit or one of them ebay $800 setups. I am so pissed, none of my friends told me that I was putting on the wrong thing.
