In that respect could a smaller IM actually make the turbo spool quicker?

Just installed a Grams 255lph pump for the first time, rather than the usual Walbro units.

I'm amazed at how quiet this pump is. Makes noticeably less noise in a halfway shelled car than the Walbro.

The plenum, by way of shear volume, yes. But it also depends upon the size of the turbocharger used. You're not going to get a 65lbs/min turbo act like a 38lbs/min unit with a smaller intake plenum, that's for sure.

It's the combination of items that make the most effective torque-creators, not justone component in the whole system. You have to look at the BIG picture.

Yeah, you're not going to get anything quantitative, that's for certain. Give it a shot. See what happens.

Garrett G 25-660 turbo:

Α new turbo presented by garrett in sema show and claimed to spool up like a disco-potato (GT2860) and produce flow like GT3582!

is that even possible?

That 49mm turbine wheel aint gonna flow **** compared to the gt3582.
It looks another version of the allready bad Gtx3076...

Currently on a Sunk2 Ultra street its pretty good just always looking for ways to get faster spool. Well see how things are in another month once I have my 83MM 1.9L GSR block up and running

Aem v2

this specific plot is great for making adjustments where you need it most. As you can see i can target rpm and load to really fine tune fuel and ignition

Got a free tuning lesson and got to play with a mainline dyno remotely yesterday through HPAcademy! It was super cool being able to tune MBT part throttle by locking the dyno at certain RPMs ranges to get to those picky cells you cant really get tuning on the street. They are a great group I would recommend their tuning courses.

We'll I've taken 2 of their webinars before on EFI 101 and basic street tuning so I am on their subscriber mailing list. Just popped up one day as a promotional thing. I didnt think it was for real but it was! Very cool 1 on 1 also so asking questions and getting direct feedback. Its a $199 class I believe!

I may be so inclined to do the full thing that includes 6 hours of time. But I really just want to get my car on a dyno that can do steady state lol. Cant see myself wanting to do it any other way now.

Find a DynaPack, and you'll never want to use anything else again.
Accurate steady-state is the best tuning tool!
