**JUST WENT TURBO some little problems**
Ok I have a built b16a block with eagle rods cp 9-1 comp, bored to 81.5mm, micropolished and balanced crank, arp headstuds, stock b16a2 head with 102k, exedy stage 2 clutch and a fidanza 7.5lb flywheel, and an 18g greddy turbo kit with a full 3in dp and exhaust
Problems:
-My car when driving will die at random time like i will be driving let of the gas and then it will die it will start back up but will die on occasion.
-My battery voltage was reading like 12-13 when i first fired it up like a week ago and then saw that one of the grounds were good so i ran a huge ground from my battery to the tranny ground and the voltage all the way around is 14.3volts,
-the idle surges
Thanx for the help guys it will be dynoed in about a week or two i will be posting the dyno sheet up once it is done

Re: **JUST WENT TURBO some little problems** (TypeSLO)
Nah, we had some issues with this car on first start up...ground issues causing weird ****.
Couple of times the car wouldnt even start back up after dying out. I had to get out of the car and shake the motor until connection occurred and the starter engaged. Last I saw it last week it was only churning out mid 12's of battery voltage at idle with no accessories on and as soon as you took off the thermostat ground or battery ground the car would die instantly (which would normally signify Alternator problems).
I think its something with the ECU logic grounds causing it NOT to put the alternator in high output mode...but I didnt have enough time to sit there and go through the harness to see if there were any breaks in the wires. Adding the extra ground wire to the tranny from the battery seems to have sort of worked I'm told, but I still think there is another solution (or a better fix). Any help would be appreciated...

what size are your injectors? im ot sure if this might be the problem for it was the problem in mines. my car just was'nt giving my motor enough fuel until i upgraded the injectors. and i also ran my ground wire to the frame/then from frame to battery. my car worked fine ever since then
