So i have been reading about using the dsm pistons. It says to use the stroker pistons on h22 rods BUT can the factory 4g63 pistons be used on f22 rods?

re: ***Official F22B Turbo Thread***
based on my calculation here
http://www.zealautowerks.com/hfseries.html
the piston will stick out of the block .177 inches and give you a compression ratio of 13.77:1. I'm not sure at what height the valves will begin interfering, but it may be a problem.

What do you think about this setup:
Aiming for at least 400 whp
f22b2
86mm(1mm over) 1.151 c.h. Arias pistons
Spec 4340 rods form Bisimoto
King bearings
Stage 2.4 cam, valve springs and retainers also form Bisimoto
RC 750's
Koyo radiator R series (53mm core)
AEM F/IC controler
As far as the turbo setup goes, haven't started yet, so I'm open to suggestions

Hey ash . I called bisi moto and they have their f22 rods and pistons rated to 900 hp for sale at 700 dollars shipped . Would you ? To make it simpler i decided to go without the 4g63 set up. Because I won't be doing the work myself. And don't want someone to mess something up on accident .
And if anyone in the Seattle area who would be willing to build my f22 block I'd pay good and be greatly appreciated . Got the cash for all parts now. Just need to buy and put together .

Mine F22b1 turbo accord is still alive and otherwise well... just hibernating for winter. Also working on some upgrades.
Generally speaking, yes you want to drop a heat range or more (depending on how much power we are talking about).
From NGK's website... brief explination.
"The spark plug firing end temperature must be kept low enough to prevent pre-ignition, but high enough to prevent fouling. This is called “Thermal Performance”, and is determined by the heat range selected."
If you want to learn more about Heat range of spark plugs.

Dont take this the wrong way but I have a question about that dyno. Thats alot of correction factor on that 522whp dyno sheet in general but esp for 68 degrees and 24% humidity conditions shown. A 1.18 factor it is adding 18% or 80whp more to your numbers vs uncorrected! By the SAE standard and my understanding, I dont see how you could have that much correction... unless, was this shop/ dyno located at a very high altitude or something?

Turbo90accord: Good to see another F22 out there pushing for more power! Congrats on the progress! This is an F22a right? You have spray on this setup too correct?

Ok that makes alot more sense now. Red flag went up when I seen the correction factor... wasnt trying to be a dick.
So is it an f22a like before? Still have spray on this thing as well, although I asume you didnt use it for the dyno?
