Default Walbro 450 fuel pump sock

So I’m upgrading my fuel pump, single in tank pump hard wired already. But I was reading and stumbled onto this about the fuel pump sock/strainer.

“The walbro 450 LPH install kit does NOT orient the fuel sock in the proper direction so it can properly suction on MOST honda/acura applications.”

Does this mean I have to use the OEM sock or one like it ? Because the one it came with is smaller and more square-ish. What would be the appropriate sock to use?

If i remember right the stock sock does fit. The walbro does have a small 3x3 sock. Not the long rectangular style the oem uses.
