%%please for love of god help somebody $$$
I have a h22 turbocharged hatch running hondata and I just finished building the motor and was hoping to tune this Fri however I'm having major tps problems I just can't figure out when doing a little street tunning with my friend the car was bogging real hard in and out so I got out to check the connection on the tps and I unhooked it with the car running and got no check engine light with it disconnected weird so than I went home and hardwired it into the ecu today hoping that would just fix the problem reset it to 5v closed throttle 4.5 wot perfect so than I went ahead and disconnected it and no check engin light weird so any ideas would be a great help and yes the bulb is in the dash for check engine light ,,I'm all out of ideas so please anyone anything sorry for long post

had the same problem on my b16. It turned out to be the "wheel" inside the TB where you mount the tps that broke during installation.

dont worry about the voltage just do it in hondata look at there help page
http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager...parameters.htm
connect lap top
turn key to on with out engine running
connect button in hondata to ecu click it
select parameters tab
select TPS parameters
now click defaults
then with your foot of the pedal click minium reading
the with foot to the floor on the pedal click maxiuman reading
now on the menu bar you will see a big arrow button click it
this will upload the setting to your ecu
turn off key unplug laptop
now start car and see how it goes

Someone else on here is having issues with connecting to the s300. Try downloading the s300 software from Hondas website and installing sometimes that works.
Regardless though your tips needs to be at 0.5v closed and 4.5v open

I know this is a video on how to change TB, but it discusses about the voltmeter being used to determine actual voltage signal. If he's experiencing a bad TPS despite any Hondata calibrations, this old school physical way of determining things, will tell you if the TPS is perhaps bad, or if the wheel in the TB is not correctly operating.

What engine harness are you running? What ecu? What locations did you hard wire the ecu in at?
You should have a 5v input a GROUND and an ouput voltage. I didn't see you mention checking your ground connection. Test for continuity from your ground wire at the tps to the thermostat. If you have a high resistance there it could be why your having problems.
After you give info on your setup I can check if you actuall have your tps wired in correctly.
Also are you opening your s300 under administrator?

I hardwired tps to to clip D red wire to pinD11-yellow wire to D20-green wire to D22 if i remember right I'm at work right now. Yellow wire is getting 5.00 volts red is set at 0.50 volts and green is at 0.03 which its suppose to be 0.01 could that be my problem ? I made all new grounds cleaned the spots up good also tried new tps sensor and stock ecu p30
