$70,000 Turbo Integra?
Holy cow, Honda Tuning Magazine features a nice looking integra with a Greddy G20 kit and a few other things on it. The guy says he's spent $70,000 on it though! How is this possible? I'm going to try to do a part by part breakdown when I get time...but that's just flat out nuts.

Re: $70,000 Turbo Integra? (DaX)
umm that just way too much to spend on a 20k car brand new, i would rather go jump on a m3 or m5 and call it a day. but each to his own, some people do it for fun or accomplishment.

he is prob including the price of the car, labor and parts and dyno time and ****. I can see it if thatsa the case.
People that bought new cars and made big HP set ups. start adding up the receipts, youll be suprised. I did all my labor myself and got **** for cheap and i was certainly suprised

Yea if i counted how much money i spent on the car, it'll all add up to a lot. But let say he spend 50k on the car, that just plain stupid... It either he love integra to death or he stupid.

Re: (lanojp1)
He could be including more than one "phase" of the car. You know a lot of people build up practically the whole car and then redo it...like spending 10k on an NA setup and becoming dissatisfied and going turbo.

I would seriously have bought a house instead of 70k on a car. And then everyone knows that you will never get that back...not even a fraction of it.

umm, this actually sounds like my friend aaron. hes actually spent more like 80g's on his type r. Honestly, i dont know where the money went, i blame the whole jdm craze, because thats where a lot of the money went. Let's just say his cusco full carbon fiber wing cost twice as much as my DA. The kid is just crazy, and i kept telling him to just spend the money on a benz or bimmer, but hey, its his money, so what could i do?
