"All good things must come to an end".... and so my end has come.
Perhaps I should let the images speak for themselves....
Well as you can see, much to my dismay.. it's over.. the stealth booster boosts no more
I reluctantly sold my GReddy manifold, TD04H-15G and custom 2.5" DP to fellw H-T member WillyboyD16, and so it's back to the unnatural world of N/A for me. The swap itself took me all of about 4hrs to complete for the most part, the hardest part was what I did tonight, removing the oil sending unit. I got the the "T" off, but when replacing the sending unit on the block, I got a nasty pissing leak. I took the sending unit back off and wraped it in teflon tape, put it back on. At first it was good, no signs of leaks, but within a few mins it started dripping all over again. The biggest problem I've had in this is I've had to use a pair of pliars to tighten the sending unit (and subsequently chewing it up!). Does anybody know the size of the unit itself so I can buy a large socket for it?
Well anways, I guess that's my story. It so unnatrual driving it. I punch it... and nothing? No boost? No pull? It just kinda goes... slowly ::sniff sniff:: oh well.. I still have the memories.
To the booster

Why did you sell it? Because your going with a b-series and a bigger and better turbo setup right?

The future is... well, cloudy at best. I have the GE block and guts sitting in the garage as we speak, but, I also have a wedding looming in 5 months and I'm in the process of looking for a new home. So right now, there's no money for cars, which is naturaly the BEST freaking time to have GB's on manifolds and turbo's
Anyways, after the wedding and the house, we'll see where I stand and wether or not I still have the desire to continue with this mess. Till then though, I'll enjoy the sound of the powerhouse N/A Civic
